Term Policy not issued (Put on Hold for 6 months) – LIC

I have paid for taking up a term policy of 30 lacs with LIC on 5th Jan 2012.
Had undergone required medical tests, later after 2 weeks i was told to undergo additional tests, which was also done. I just enquired with the examining doctor and got a confirmation that everything was normal.
Now almost after 2 months of paying up the amount i get a call from Agent that policy is put on hold for 6 months.
I need valid reasons on doing so when i know all the reports were normal in the second round of medical tests.

Only if the medical report has thrown something for which a 6 month waiting period is mandatory then only the same can be withheld. Just contact nb.divisionname@licindia.com if you have already contacted the branch and failed to get a reply.
