How to pay LIC of India insurance premiums online?

Customers can buy Life Insurance Corporation’s (LIC) policies either from their appointed agents or from LIC offices which are spread pan India. Similarly, renewal premiums can be paid through LIC appointed insurance agents or by visiting the LIC offices or through the LIC India online premium payment option. Few of the advantages of paying the renewal premiums online are:

• no need to visit LIC offices,
• instant generation of renewal premium payment
• easier and quicker payment of renewal premiums when the premium due dates are very near.

Step 1:

• If you’re a new user, visit http://www.licindia.in/NewUserRegistration.htm to register yourself for the LIC customer portal account. You shall require the following details in order to register:
• Policy No.
• Instalment Premium (Rs.)
• Date of Birth (DoB)
• Email Id

 If you have already registered with LIC Customer portal, visit https://customer.onlinelic.in/epslogin.htm to login to your account.

Once you login, you shall see the below given screen:

Step 3:

You can see the details of all your purchased policies over here:

Step 4:

In order to pay the renewal premium of all your insurance policies except ULIPs (Unit Linked Insurance Plans), click the “Pay Premium Online” located in the sidebar on the right side of the page.

In order to pay the renewal premium for your ULIP policies, click “Pay ULIP Premium Online” located in the sidebar on the right side of the page.

Note: If you have more than one insurance policy from Life Insurance Corporation and want to associate them to your existing customer portal account, follow these steps:

Step 1:

In order to enrol your other insurance policies bought from Life Insurance Corporation (LIC), login to your customer portal account. You shall see the following screen once your login:

Click “Enrol Policies” link located in the sidebar on the left side of the page

Done! You’ve successfully enrolled your new LIC policies.
